Awards and Acknowledgments

My photos appear in several hard back books publised by the International Library of Photographers. You can seem them at www.picture.com and type in Sherry M. Brackett or Sherry Brackett.

I also wona Photo Contest at Ford Motor Credit Company in 1990. My photo was framed and matted and was displayed for about ayear. It was quite exciting.

My photos have recently been shown on Detroit's TV WDIV (NBC) Weather Forecast. They used several of my photos. They have appeared on the Phoenix Arizona News Web Site, the Detroit Free Press Newspaper and Web Site. They were on display at Mootzies Gallery in Owosso, Michigan last summer.

I have added new and exciting photos to my Web Site so take some time to look at them as I'm sure you would find something that would appeal to you.

My own book entitled "Mother Nature's Spiritual Gift to You: A Photographic Journal" deals with my struggle against cancer and illustrates my new way of seeing the wonders in the world around me. Think of each day as Christmas with a new present to open and to discover what's inside. There are a few excerpts from my book so take a moment to read them. The photos were taken by me and the passages for each are mine. I am very proud to say that my book was used for a 2005 Health Seminar in Denver, Colorado.

Come this May, I will be a Guest Speaker at the Gilda Radner House in Rochester, Michigan. I will talk about my War With Cancer and how my book came to me.
